Within DOORS an object hierarchy with 3 levels can be converted to a DOORS table with the DXL function "toTable".
Is it possible to turn back such a table to an object hierarchy with 3 levels? Preferably without creating new objects? Absolute numbers and history of the objects shall be preserved.
Background information:
The row and table objects shall be linked with other objects. This seems to work only for Objects which are not converted to a DOORS table .

There is an "tab2hier.dxl" script supplied with DOORS in \lib\dxl\example directory, but it creates new objects. Actually I doubt if it could be possible to use the same objects, i.e. just to convert a group of table objects to objects in hierarchy as the attributes managing table behavior (TableType) are read-only to users.
BTW you can link to table cell objects, but did you want links to the table object or row objects?

I know the script you mentioned and I know that it is possible to link to single table cells, but I want to have a link to a table row or the table object which can be seen by deactivating "View->Show->Table Cells".
Is this possible?

You can link to a table object and you can also set its attributes, just like ordinary objects.
The Heading and Text are not visible in the main column in the GUI, although you can diaplay atributes and layout DXL in columns.
Row objects are never visible.
